How many people has had problems with the xbox 360?

i was about to play some games when i noticed that it wont read any discs for me. so i looked it up and found a ton of people having the same problem. i started to think how crappy the 360 really was and was wondering how many people has had problems with it as well. alot of people have wasted alot of money on the xbox 360 just to fix it. ofcourse, its their choice of fixing it or not, but i think its just idiotic. but anyways, im just annoyed from it and was wondering about how many people world wide have problems with their 360. oh, and with console HAS the most problems?
