I keep dreaming about snakes being in my grandmothers house. A house that I am terrified of. why?

Ok...my grandparents have both passed away and all of my really bad dreams are centered around their house. Now I am dreaming that there are snakes living with me in the house as well as these worms in my bed that can get through your skin? In my dream the snakes decides rather or not I can leave and repeatedly tries to attack my dog? As I said before I am terrified of their house and was recently forced to live there for two months. During this two months I made my best friends stay every night with me...I only had to stay there alone for one night. What does my dream mean?
