I'm connected to the internet, but browsers do not work, what can I do?

Alright, I was just playing a game and I accidentally did something in it, so I was going to look up the code to type in the console to undo it. But when I tried to load the website, it wouldn't work. I was on skype, and it's working perfectly fine. Everything but my internet browsers are working. I just turned on Hotspot Shield to change my IP, and tuh-duh, my browsers work, but when I turn it off, bam, they don't work again. This is happening to my other computer, also. Both computers are e-machines, both windows 7, one wireless internet, the other using an internet cord. I've restarted my internet, reset it, everything, but to no avail. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
