So I have this friend, and she's a girl (not what you think)?

I have this friend, and she's a girl. Now, I know what you're thinking, but this is not another "I'm in love with my best friend" post. I feel like she's a really close confidante; someone in whom I could confide almost anything. When I was clinically depressed, (and still am) She was one of the few people whom I told. Last night, she told me a girl I liked already had a boyfriend, then proceeded to console me the whole night. We have the same sense of humor and tastes in music. We touch a lot too, almost in a flirty, joking sort of way. Most of the time, she is the one who initiates it. I've never had a girlfriend before, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. Basically, what I'm trying to ask is, am I in love with her?
