Does my warranty cover this problem on my android phone?

My android phone which i got 2 weeks ago, is acting very slow. for simple tasks, such as texting and camera. also, when i'm on the home page where all my apps are, it glitches. when i try to select and app the screen looks like it shakes, should i return it?
