Do consoles (ps3/xbox360) have ambient occlusion support?

I have looked through a lot of websites trying to find the answer to whether the ps3 and xbox 360 use ambient occlusion in games such as batman arkham asylum and splintercell conviction, but cannot find anything. I have these games on pc and can play them with ambient occlusion turned on. I wanted to know if consoles have the capacity to use ambient occlusion as well.
