Catcher In The Rye questions....?

I'm about to go to sleep, but for a soundtrack like catcher in the rye I'd go with some existential angst type stuff. Look into some prog rock like pink floyd, king crimson, etc. Also, you'll probably find some good 90's stuff like smashing pumpkins, soundgarden, mad season, etc.
