Is my friend self centered ?
Recently my friend invited many of us over for her son's 2nd birthday party. When it was time for the cake she lit the candles and blew them out herself without giving her son a chance to do so. Her husband even asked why she didn't give her son a chance. It was a bit awkward but we moved on. When ever we are out in a group it seems like the moment I try to talk to anyone else she tries to get my attention by interupting. Why does she do these things ? At times I am embarrassed for her.
Walking on leash problems?
I had a similar problem with one of my dogs. The only thing that worked was a prong collar. It's not meant to be worn tight. It needs to be a little loose. Also, no constant pressure or she will get used to it. You need to do a quick pop and release and only when she pulls. My boy learned very quickly that he would get to go meet the new dogs or people, but he needed to walk calmly at my side before he was allowed to do so. I only had to use the prong collar for a few days before he was walking like a perfect gentleman. I know they look bad. I always thought that too. Until I spoke with a vet who specialized in behavior. He told me to put the collar on my forearm and do the pop and release. It didn't hurt at all. It's not meant to. It's supposed to be like when you tap someone on the arm to get their attention.
Mouse droppings ALL OVER my babies clothes! Can I still clean them?
I recently discovered my garage has mouse infestation, alot of my stuff is covered in droppings, but my sons baby clothes are covered in it! (must've been a warm place). I have another baby on the way and was hoping to use those clothes! Is there any way I can clean these clothes and still feel safe using them? Or is there a risk no matter how I clean them?

About Affordable Health Care?
I am a 57 year old woman, diagnosed almost 14 years ago with breast cancer. At that time I did have Insurance that covered the cost. But with-in a few years it became so expensive I couldn't afford to keep it. When I tried to find another Insurance, no one would take me...they would hang up on me when I told them breast cancer. Now, I have been with out ins. for many years, Thank God nothing has been serious for further treatments. I have paid for my mammograms and blood work out of my own pocket. Now at 57 years old I got my CDL drivers license to drive a school bus to get health insurance. I do have my own small business for 30 years, I do not have any employees. Paying private Insurance is very costly or the deductable is so high, I can't pay it. I did not ask for Breast cancer, seems I'm being punished for this!!!!!! I was only 43 at the time, I have one daughter that I thought I would not see her grow up. I work everyday to pay the rest of my bills, groceries, etc... My mammogram and blood work was due last November, this time I can not afford to go get this done. Can not apply for Medicaid, between my husband and I, we make alittle too much. I'm really getting scared for my life at this time. I really do not know what to do, but wait on my Big Yellow Bus to drive those precious children to school. everyone in your dreams are people you have seen in your life. You probably got this idea through a horror movie, because i have seen at least 20 movies that relate to your dream:P I had a dream where i was in a horror movie, and right when the killer was about to turn around the corner and come face to face with me, i woke up. So sometimes they can relate to real life and sometimes they don't. But i don't see how this guy that you like could be the cause of your nightmare. Hope this helped:)

there have been times in our history that society accepted, even among Godly people, much more barbaric behaviours, openly, than is currently accepted. there isn't anyone being eaten by lions in stadiums with cheering christians, there isn't people being stoned or burned on a cross in the center of town for all to see and applaud, nobodies drowning women to see if they are witches watching this along with their children. yes there's much going on that's not right today, but there's always been deplorable events in history.... it doesn't seem like things are any worse than they've ever been. but now we are much more aware of everything that's going on, so i would assume that with the things we didn't hear about added, things were far worse then because what we did hear about was horrific!

Dont push. I know first hand that it just makes them worse. As far as the doctor thing goes. I dont think there is any point in trying to make her go, As with other diseases (alchohol, drugs etc) if she isnt ready then there is no point. Maybe she needs this as a learning experience. The marijuana is probably the reason for the mood swings and irrational behavior. I would suggest letting this relationship hit rock bootom so she can see clearly, then let her come home. In the meantime, let her know you are there but there are limits to what you will do with her in this very dumb situation.
Alternative Music Album Artwork?
My band is coming along well, and we have enough songs for an EP. Our band name is 5 Hit Combo, and we have a sort of alternative feel, with some light rock influences. Think Mayday Parade-esque influences. We're thinking of having the EP name "Foot on the Wall" due to a water stain that looks like a foot on the wall of our practice space (original, I know), but the album cover doesn't have to relate at all. I'm currently entertaining thoughts of a bride and groom theme. One is the couple driving a convertible away from her parents who are chasing on foot, or a police chase with the same couple as the perps. Anything on the same lines would be appreciated, but please, any ideas are a help. There's four of us, the lead singer is a woman, if that starts any juices flowing. As a freelance visual artist how would I get paid for a project involving designing/illustrating a book cover? I had offers to illustrate covers for upcoming authors books. I was wondering would I get paid off of royalties? Or is there a way to get paid a certain set rate if the book doesn't do well or could I get a percentage of the continual earnings or profits of the book?
Do I live too far away to take this CELTA course?
I was recently accepted into a CELTA course, but I would have to drive to it each day. Considering the traffic on most days it will probably take 1 1/2 hrs to get to the area of the class and then 30 minutes to park my car in the parking garage and walk to class. It will take about the same amount of time to walk get home. Perhaps on some days I will be really lucky and if there are no accidents on the road I could get take 10 or 15 minutes of that commute time. The class is either supposed to be from 9am to 5:30 pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm (I have received conflicting info). I also know that I am supposed to have about 20-25 hours worth of homework outside of class. When I asked the Center about this they said that this is still feasible and lots of students have commutes to class. Has anyone ever taken a CELTA course before? Is this feasible?

Getting a psp now (2011)?
Ok so its already 2011 and i don't have a psp. i want to own it since 2008 but i was on and off about getting one. Now, i dont really know anymore. should i get one? its been half a decade since the first ever psp ever came and now im having doubts of the future. for example, for this console like after a year or 2, not many great games might come out for the psp and it'll be dead like the gba now. i have heard rumours of a psp2 and phone and it is predicted end of this year or next year. so, whats it for the psp? is it still worth getting one now? im afraid after a few years, it'll be dead and the psp will be left in the corner, building up dust. has the trend for the psp gone down already? to me, it was 2008 and 2009 where the psp was at its peak of popularity. now, i dont know really, i could catch up on the older games but is it really worth the purchase?

Red Nintendo 3DS Console?
Hey guys, looks like the Nintendo 3DS is upon us! Cant wait should be a very interesting gaming system. Only fear I have is if the availability turns into something of when the Wii first launched.. Anyways what I really wanted to ask is how about would I end up getting a red 3DS? Black and Blue seem to be what is available but sadly the color just doesn't float my boat. Maybe closer to launch the red one will be produced but I have doubts.. Thoughts anyone?
Will a PS2 bought in India work in the US..?
I bought a PS2 system in India and brought to US. I can still play but there is no color. Unlike in Indian tvs there is no option here in the US to change the color system between PAL and NTSC. The option is not available on the console also? Is there any way I can play in color or am I doomed to play on blank and white?

Should I be concerned about my shoulder?
I was hit very hard in a hockey game (charging/check from behind) and thought I had broken my collar bone/shoulder. My trainer took a look at it and said it looks fine. It is about 2 and half weeks later and just to the right of my left shoulder there is a bump that is not squishy at it's center and does not seem to be simple swelling (there is some I think surrounding the bone/ whatever the hard thing is). It looks like a part of my collar bone or part of my shoulder. I wish I could be more descriptive. It hurts whenever I touch it and if I hit somebody hard in a game it will send a shock-wave of pain in my shoulder. I have full range of motion in my shoulder still though. Should I have a doctor take a look at it or simply go to another trainer and get a second opinion? Do you think it is fractured or severely injured? Thanks for your help.
Rationale for region lock-outs?
I've been reading about the Nintendo 3DS because I want to get one. I think it looks cool, except for this thing about not being able to play games from different regions. This never applied to me before, but I'm studying Japanese right now and may want to import a game at some point. The 3DS isn't the only thing that does this. DVD players and other game consoles also have lock-outs for different regions. But I really don't understand the rationale behind doing this, especially with game consoles. I can understand putting features in place to lock-out pirated or unlicensed games, but that's not the case here. It seems like that would only serve to prevent sales from people who don't live in a particular region. Nintendo is a business and I'm pretty sure they make a little bit of money for each game sold. This seems like it's only decreasing potential profits for everyone without giving any real positive benefit. Is there some positive benefit from a business side that I'm not seeing? I'm not happy whatever the reason is, but I just want to know what the thinking behind doing this is.

Ok.. I have been dying to find out what the name of this movie is. I've tried googling what I know and still can't find anything.. ok. I'm pretty sure it was a tv movie from the 80's.. maybe even the 70's. All I remember is that at the beginning there is construction going on and the skeletal remains of a baby is dug up. I am about to send out my semester grades to the colleges I have yet to get in to, and the grades aren't reflective of me. In the first 4 months of my senior year, my best friend died in a car accident, my boyfriend of 2 years found out he was schizophrenic and basically lost it, and my grandpa had a stroke and we have been moving him into assisted living. Needless to say, it has been a rough first semester and my grades are reflecting that. I know that these grades are a critical part of the admissions process, so I have been thinking about attaching a cover letter to explain these obstacles. It wouldn't be a sob story or a long essay about excuses, but I think the colleges should know and maybe be able to understand where I am coming from. Thoughts?

I have looked through a lot of websites trying to find the answer to whether the ps3 and xbox 360 use ambient occlusion in games such as batman arkham asylum and splintercell conviction, but cannot find anything. When i try to play zombies on black ops i can find people but when the match is about to start , it just freezes atthe loading screen. i can't dashboard quit or anything. i have to turn off my console. I found a lost dog who might have been abused, what do I do?
I found a little Boston Terrier wondering around my neighborhood about a week and a half ago. He was a real sweet dog and ran right up to me. I spent the rest of the night walking him around to see if I had any luck finding his owners, but never did. When I actually had the chance to inspect him, I realized he hadn't been eating and was all bones, his ears hadn't been cleaned in months upon months and he had an ear infection, he had some pus running out of his anus, and was covered in fleas. The next morning, I treated his ailments as best I could and started calling shelters, putting ads on craigslist, posting flyers and all that stuff, but haven't been able to find an owner. Tomorrow I'm taking the dog to the vet to see if he's chipped. Now here's my concern, his owners were very negligent and have obviously treated this dog terribly, if the vet identifies his owners, which haven't attempted to even look for him, do I have to return him? I'm afraid that the dog has to go back to a horrible owner and I want to fight for his safety.
If I'm opening up my own daycare center, would it be wise to hire a bookkeeper or an office assistant to help?

A tampon can be painful to remove when your menstruation is light. When you were taking it out was it fully saturated? When the tampon is not fully saturated and is try the cotton can "stick" to the moist skin of the vagina causing pain when pulling it out. I assure you the skin did not grow on the tampon it was just sort of stuck. Make sure you are using the right absorbency of tampon for your flow, if your flow is very light for instance do not use a super plus tampon. Hope this helps. If you still cant get it ask your mother or guardian or ask for a doctors appointment to learn the in's and out's of inserting a tampon.
Dropping timing chain into lower engine on ttr 125 01?
hi i took my head off to take it to a machine shop and i got it back and i went to put the head gasket on and i dropped the timing chain into the lower engine. i wouldnt have a problem but i cant seem to get my left transmission cover off, it seems to be siliconed together and it just wont budge. ive tried to hammer the flaps and it wont move a inch. please help! why wont it move? how do i fix this problem so i dont have it in the future. btw i cant take it to a shop

I think it is anxiety related. What happens is you get a small pain, worry about it -then it gets worse. Fear and anxiety cause very negative symptoms. Have you tried going for walks ? Exercize is one of the best stress reducers. I wouldnt take any medication for anxiety, thats witch-doctor stuff. Take an ibupropen as a muscle relaxer or valerian for sleep. Go for walks, be glad no test shows anything bad. Also , spirituality is paramount. I am a Christian and would probably be worrysome without it.

It sounds like you are in a real horrible living situation. Whatever the reasons are between you and your mom, I can tell you one thing. It is extremely unhealthy for you and for her. I admire you for your ambition to get a good life and for being such a young person, you have a full understanding of the importance of education to have a great bright future and that those credentials you strive for are going to be an accomplishment that only you can have the right to have under your name and that NO ONE will ever be able to take away from you and will carry you far, especially with the mature attitude and outlook you possess at such a young age. If you have any family members that can help you out, perhaps you could move in with them until you complete your education and get that career that will make you the independent strong person you will be in the world, someday, you and your Mom, can work out your differences, whatever they may be, only you and her will know that.
